Nature is filled with wholly unnecessary beauty. Whether it is a sunset, reflective lake, forest or mountain, humans have a singular appreciation for the beauty of nature. We can find natural beauty in many unexpected places, it's like a serendipitous gift. Photography allows me to capture that gift and share it.
This is a gallery of my humble attempts to capture the beauty of nature and wildlife through photography, and create whatever my artistic vision directs.
I'm an amateur photographer, still learning the art of photography and exploring, but hope you will enjoy some of the beauty I have attempted to capture, and art I have attempted to create.
The gallery contains nature, sunset, flower, wildlife, artistic photos, night photos, and paintings. There are also a few black and white and panorama nature photos. In the blog I hope to share some experiences, techniques, and camera reviews.

The photos were taken with various digital cameras, including the Canon 5D, 20D, G9, Panasonic, Olympus, and some film cameras. The paintings were done in acrylic. Most of my photos were taken in natural available light. Sometimes I use filters, and processing is done as needed to accentuate any artistic vision.
